Hello

Thanks for writing to H.C.M.

I read your query regarding tinnitus and sore throat.

Here I would like to tell you that tinnitus is a disease of inner ear and is produce due to spontaneous depolarization of hair cells of cochlea. this is usually a degenerative phase of hair cells. Prognosis of treatment is bad but conservatively you may take-

1- Caroverine (20 mg ) twice daily for two months.

2- Tab Methicobalamine ( 1500 micro gram ) once a day for two months.

3- Anti-Anxity drug at bed time.

This tinnitus indirectly reduces hearing as well so other alternative method is the use of hearing aid. If correct power hearing aid is given to you , you will feel good hearing free from tinnitus.

As far as your sore throat is concern you may take-

1- tab cetrizine 10 mg.

2- tab paracetamol.

3- warm saline gargling.

I hope above will help you.

Regards.
