Having Trouble Eating And Drinking. Swollen Throat, Heavy Chest With Pain. What Is The Solution For The Problem?

I am a 8 1/2st, 5ft 2 , 20 year old woman and for the past 2 days I ve been having trouble eating and drinking. Everytime I swallow it feels like it isn t going down the right way, even if its just saliva, and I m worried there may be food and drink in my lungs! My chest feels heavy and I feel like I m not taking in as much air as I normally do. There is slight pain but nothing unbearable, my entire torso just feels a little tight, and my throat feels a little swollen. Is there any advice I can get so that I don t make it worse until I get an appointment with my local GP.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello, thank you for communicating with us for your problem. As per the brief history you have given us it seems there is not a serious problem . i can suggest you there is absolutely no water in your lungs.water you drink cant enter your lungs. probably you may be having reflux of acid that is causing the problem of heaviness in chest. start antaacid gel two tea spoon full three or four times a day . avoid excessive of tea or coffee or spicy food.
But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more queries. I will be pleased to answer.
With best wishes for a speedy cure
