Head Injuries, No Loss Of Consciousness, Headache, Excessive Sleepiness, Confusion. Suggestions?
I got punched a few times in the head. I went to the ER and got stitches in my lip. I never lost consciousness . It has been four days and I am still sleeping a little more then normal and have a mild headache every now and again. I would say I am a little confused here and there but I could also say it might be from sleeping more. I am a 34 year old male. What advise do you have for me?

Sleep should clear the conscience not confuse
It is very likely you have mild concussion - that could account for this. Especially so, after being punched. No loss of consciousness is no guarantee of anything. You should go for an MRI or CT scan of the head - more to rule out than to rule in any internal injury. A small subarachnoid bleed may not show immediately! One should not miss a treatable cause.
