Head Injury, Concussion, Head Pressure, Pain On Lying Down. Cure For Symptoms?
I fell and hit the back of my head last February. I had a concussion . Now, after no problems for a few months, I have developed pressure on top of my head and when I lie down, it feels as though somebody is pulling the top of my hair. The pressure is relieved when I press with my hand , but the pressure returns after I release. Thank you
The current symptoms of heaviness and pressure on the top of your head are unlikely to be related to the past history of concussion or head injury (as several months have elapsed in between, when you were well).
The most likely cause of your symptoms could be a muscle tension headache. After consultation with a doctor, you may use medications such as amitryptiline or Dothiepin, for relief.
At present, there is no need to worry.

That is a LONG time to still have problems! How old are you? I am a chiropractor and a concussion specialist but its hard to answer this without asking you many more questions. Drink lots of water and see a chiropractor in your area if you can.
