Head Injury, Feeling Faint, Swollen Eye, Lump, Headache

Hi, i fell whilst walking my dog four weeks ago and head butted the concrete really hard, i did not lose conscience and picked myself up quickly but needed to sit down as felt really sick and faint, woke up next more with a badly swollen black eye and bye the second day i had two very swollen black eyes. i am still left with a lump which can feel very sore and niggarly at times on my eyebrow line, will this sort itself in time as am not suffering from headaches or anything.

Hi,
You will have suffered tissue damage at the site of impact and the lump is most likely to be resolving hematoma (collection of blood) and some scar tissue. It will probably disappear over time but may take a few weeks.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
MBChB FRCA
