Head Injury, Feeling Sick, Nausea, Feeling Jolt When Moving Head

I hit the top of my head pretty hard, full thrust from my legs upward into concrete my head hurts along with my neck and my shoulder mostly on my right side there doesn't seem to be much of a bump but I feel sick to my stomach. Not quite sure if the nausea is placebo but I don't think do. I keep geting a jolt like pain when I move my head.

Hi,
You have suffered a significant impact to your neck and shoulders. This is likely to have strained your neck muscles and ligaments. This will be enough to cause nausea secondary to the pain. You may develop a swelling on your head and a headache. The jolt-like pain will be from strained ligaments.
This is all likely to settle down over the next few days. I suggest you take paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain. Rest as much as possible. If you feel no better in a week, I suggest you see your doctor for further investigations to rule out any serious injury such as torn muscles or ligaments.
I hope you feel better soon.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
