Hi
If the punched area on head is near ear then you may feel as if your ear is aching. This is because the nerve supplying punched area also supplies ear. So without having problems in ear you may feel earache.
Did you have migraine before this incident?
If you had migraine before, any irritation in head and neck area can increase the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. That is irritation from punched area is making you get those attacks. In such cases separate treatment for migraine may be required once that irritation is relieved.
Even without earlier migraine attacks some may start getting migraine attacks after start of such irritation. In those once the irritation stops the migraine is likely to disappear.
For the soreness in your head you may do the following:
Brufen 400 mg after food, three times a day for 5 days.
After this if your earache persists consult an ENT specialist to rule out any other reason for your earache. If your migraine persists then you may need migraine prophylaxis.
Wish you good health.
