Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. M Agarwal's Response
hello. welcome to HCM,
Sinus related infections can lead to severe constant headache, however high temperature for as long as three weeks warrant further investigation.Preliminarily, it is important to have a complete X ray scan of all the sinuses (various views may be needed) to rule out any serious pathology (apart from CHROINC SINUSITIS). If there is discharge, it is best to submit it for baceterial and fungal culture. Furthermore, you have to take antibiotics, a course of antipyeretics and regular steam inhalation at least thrice a day.
hope this helps
