Headache, Neck Pain, Nausea, Pain In Arm And Legs. Low Thyroid Level. Are These Related?

I get migraines normally but they go away after awhile. This new headache has been present for about two months and will not go away and the pain is awful. I go to a neurologist and the medicine she has been prescribing has not taken away the pain. Also with these headaches I have awful neck pain and nausea. Also sharp pain in my legs and arms, it feels like someone is stabbing them. I found out my thyroid is a little low but not to much, could this be the problem?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.

Your thyroid problem is not the cause for your bad headaches.

If the headaches are not responding to the usual treatment, we may have to do an MRI scan of the brain to rule out other causes of headaches.

If it is confirmed to be migraine (and no other cause), then, you may benefit from botox injection treatment.

Please discuss these issues with your neurologist.

I hope my reply has helped.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
