Headache With Numbness In Arm. History Of Hitting Head On Brickwall Followed By Swelling. No Nausea. Concerning?

My son hit his head today at school. He tripped and hit his head on the brick wall. He ended up with a goose egg on his head but the swelling was gone in a few hours. It is now about 10 hours later. We put him to bed but he said he had a head ache and his arm periodically goes numb. He does not complain of nausea or dizziness. Should we be concerned?

Hi, it appears that he has concusion, type head injury. I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis. The head ache may be due to injury but to exclude the head injury i advise you to consult the doctor. Regarding the head injury it is always better to exclude the doubt, to prevent the complications.
Thank you.
