Headaches Due To Hair Transplant

I had a hair transplant 1 year ago and ever since then, I ve had horrible headaches. They last all day everyday and nothing seem to calm them down. I have seen 3 neurologist and everyhting looks fine in my brain. I am affraid that the surgeon damaged a never during my hair transplant and that could be the source of the problem.Any taght about the correlations between my HT and my headaches?

I DO NOT THINK IT IS RELATED TO YOUR SURGERY MOST PROPABLY . IT IS RELATED TO YOUR MIGRAINE OR HEADACHE DUE TO OTHER THINGS LIKE VISION PROBLEM OR YOU MAY HAVE URTI OR PYREXIA OR OTHER RELATED COMPALINTS. YOU HAVE NOT WRITTEN TREATMENET GIVEN BY NEUROPHYSICIANAND RESPONSE TO TREATMENT.

Most of the headaches are effectively treated with a simple regime. Just put 4-4 drops of Cow ghee in both nostrils and tell me after a week.
Psychiatrist Dr. A. Vishal's  Response
Hi friend
Dont worry about ur problem, headache is not due to hair transplantation. Already you have consulted neurologist, everything is normal. you should be consult a psychiatrist and he will be help you how to over come your problem, teach you some relaxation techniques. Avoid artificial drinks, some tyramine contain foods like cheese, stored pickles, ice creams, chocolates. Eat fresh vegtables, regular exercise, brisk walk, help u to solve ur problem. You have not given details about ur age, any family history of hypertension, diabetes, any substance use(alcohol, smoking).
If it is migraine mostly unilateral, it can treated by sumatryptan, analgesics and newer drugs. avoid stressful activities, maintain sleep shedule, sleep hygeine.
avoid excess salt, fat diet.
all the best

General & Family Physician Dr. Jitender Chauhan's  Response
hello, welcome to HCM. It is very unlikely to be a result of hair transplant. you could be suffering getting this headache due to some visual problems or migraine. But as you said that neurologist didnt find anything you need to try to reduce mental stress, have sound sleep and exercise daily. It can help you overcome headache to a great extent. If you still get the symptoms just see a psychiatrist. Wish you good health.
