Healing From Yeast Infection, Why Am I Getting Bad Itching, Swelling And Pain In Vagina?

I am healing from a yeast infection. It started with bad itching and swelling and pain. Took 3 day monistat and that helped. But I still have very intense itching just at the top outside of my vagina. I've tried tons of things to make it stop and nothing is helping to stop the itch longer than 5 min.

Hi,
I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.
As you are having vaginal fungal infection the medicine what you took will stop growth of fungus that cause the infection.
The drug monistat reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge that may occur with your condition.
For Severe yeast infections you can apply try topical anti fungal ointment, tablet or suppository an be placed in vagina.
If you are sexually active treatment of your sexual partner or use of condoms when having sex.
For this you need expert's guidance also.
