Hello Dear!

By your questions it seems you underwent coronary catheterization and one of its side effect is inury to coronary vessels. so they gave you Pain killers (Demerol) to control your cardiac pain and the management for this complication is surgery (CABG). so as far this management goes they treated you very well.

Versid is a drug from benzodiazepine family which is indicated for anxiety. it helps you with you anxiety problems as well as your sleep problem. but one of its common side effect is Partial and Complete memory loss. I recommend you to talk with your doctor and change you drug. there are many alternative available to Versid. which does not effect your memory.

So in a nutshell , the drug your doctor recommended for your anxiety is causing this side effect. and just by taking alternative drug can solve your memory problems :)
