Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I exercise and my heart rate increases I sometimes hear my heart (or I think it s my heart as it goes to the beat) making this squelching noise, but I can only hear it when I hold in a breath. If I breath out and hold it there I can t hear the noise. Can anyone shed any light on this? Any Doctors in the house? wow! Way to scare me! lol ok I ll get it checked out. THANKS!!!!!
Thanks for the query.
It is normal to feel your heart beat after exercise but if it causing discomfort, pain or black outs then please get it checked by a general physician. Go to him with an ECG and an ECHO to help him out,
Have a healthy living

Heart Making Squelching Noise
It could be a mild heart murmur, or it might be an asthmatic wheeze, it can feel like that sometimes. I m not a doctor, this is just my opinion.
