Heart Palpitations, Chest Pain Above Nipple, Burning Sensation In Head After Starting Strattera. Medication Side Effects?
Ive been taking strattera for about a month now and am having some weird symptoms. Heart palps, chest pain almost on the left side of the sternum above the nipple , 3 second burning sensations that i feel deep in my head. All of this happens before bed and I get a feeling of falling that wakes me up right before I fall asleep. Cause for concern?
Thank you for your query .
These symptoms you are experiencing may or may not be linked to Stratera use. I do not feel you should be overly concerned and at this stage there is no reason to discontinue the drug. I do however suggest that you have your doctor check your heart rate and blood pressure as the drug may affect these. Also remember that your liver functions need to be evaluated after 3-6 months on the drug. Many side effects due to drugs are of a transient nature and will disappear after continued use. I trust this information helps you.
