Heart Starts Beating Fast Randomly, Pauses For Few Seconds, During Resting, Feel Dizzy
what does it mean if my heart starts beating really fast randomly, pauses for about 2-3 seconds, then like beats one hard beat and goes back to normal? its most noticable when im about to go to sleep or am resting but ive noticed it during the day. i often feel light headed and/or dizzy and sometimes everything goes fuzzy.
You ought to see a doctor! You need examination / and investigation... A beat comes earlier than normal – this itself is not usually felt. The next beat is a bit delayed - longer time to recover form early extra beat – so heart fills more and the beat appears forcible – thud / lubb - - dubb - - lubb - - dubb - lub - - - DUBB / EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring – for arrhythmia) / ECHOcardiogram (for clot) / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG – for ischemia) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
