Heaviness In Head, Normal Blood Test Result, Not Taking Medication. Advice?
Hi Doctor, i am an adult female aged 54 years. i have experienced heaviness in the head the last one week. I have checked my blood sugar ,and biochemestry results is normal. My bp was 160/100 but has gradually gone down to 150/90 today yet the heaviness and drowsiness continues .....i am not on medication ......please advise
Your Blood pressure is 160/100 is Grade 2 Hypertension and even 150/90 is high.
Certain Lefestyle modifications like Salt Restriction regular walking, avoiding, smoking and alcoholand reduction of weight can bring bP to lower level but if it is still high you have to take regular medicines to keep BP under check.
Please consult a Physician and a detail examination to rule out any Neurological problem, get routine investigation like ECG, and Ultrasonography of kidney.
Please take antihypertensive medicines regularly with periodic checkups.
Take care of Your health
Good Luck
