Hello - I Am A 64 Year Old Female With

Hello - I am a 64 year old female with chronic disc degerative disease in my entire spine, thus I live in non-stop pain.
I see a pain management doc regularly for meds and care. My blood pressure is often varied, usually on the high side due to pain, depending on my level of pain. I was taking Benecar and Clonidine, but the Benecar and small use of some ibuprofen caused the cretinine (sp) level in my kidneys to be 30. My doctor sent me to a nephrologist. Kidneys are fine except for the elevation. It's too bad that I had to discontinue the Benecar.
My pain mgmt Doctor is weaning me from nortriptilene, and added Trazadone for sleep. He also put me on a very low dose of methadone 5mg (2 1/2 mg in morn and in evening) used to enhance the hydrocodones effect. Having said all that, at present, my blood pressure is 187/75 heart rate 87. Since the upper number is high and lower is low, do I take any blood pressure med or not? Currently my med for BP is 50mg Metoprolol in a.m. then 0.1 mg Clonidine as needed. Can you please advise? If I take any BP med, it will cause both numbers to go down and 75 is on the downside already. Thank you
