3 weeks ago my right nipple became itchy; I recall scratching it in bed and left it. Within a few days my nipple became warm to the touch, slightly swollen and inflammed with clear leakage. Mammograms and ultrasound came back normal and local GP provided steroid/bacteria cream. Could this be due to being perimenopausal? 45? the stinging was so painful pain killers wouldn't touch it.
