Hello. A Year And A Half Ago I Entered Perimenopause.

Hello. A year and a half ago I entered perimenopause. I went through prolonged bleeding and became anemic. I had an episode last spring where my heart was racing and fluttering. I went to the ER, they ran tests and took CBC blood work and did not find anything. They asked if I had possible anxiety but my body has never responded negatively to stress in the past. Two months later I got on birth control (microgestin). I am noticing that at the time I would normally have a “period” but actually don’t, I have a week of heart palpitations and increased heart rate. I have been on iron supplements and wasn’t sure if I’m still anemic. I will be following up on that. But does this sound like heart failure at all? I don’t quite know what’s going on.
