Hello Doctor! Hope you can give advice on my mother's illness. My mother is 80 years old and she is diagnosed as Myeloma. Myeloma was discovered after the extraction of bone marrow and PET scan with high B cell index. Doctor cannot find any symptoms yet after PET scan so they suggest not to apply medicine at the moment.

However, my mother has said her throat and nose are very painful for 3 months. (In order to look into the details, ENT doctors suggest to check if it is cancer, they suggest to cut the glands to look into details, no cancer cells found but ebv virus) ENT and Blood Specialist Doctor gave antibiotics for her but useless for her painfulness. said my mother's immune system is very weak and it will takes a long time to recover ebv virus. They give antibiotics but still useless for her painfulness. She could not eat because of painfulness and so her weight loses a lot to 35kg. She is refused to eat and very unhappy and felt hopeless all the time. So please can you give any advice to soothe her painfulness.
