Hello Doctor, I Am One Year Quit From Cigarettes After

Hello Doctor,

I am one year quit from cigarettes after smoking since I was about 13-22. I was a half a pack a day smoker give or take. Well I've noticed recently I've been clearing my throat a lot more and my lungs feel heavy almost painful when laying down or taking a deep breath.. I do have a history of hypochondria so that certainly isnt helping.. I cough occasionally (mainly when my throat gets a tickle)... I have asthma that doesn't bother me too much and a grandmother who died of lung cancer from smoking.. Should I be concerned? Thank you.
