Hello Doctor, I had a regular period every month, but after taking basal body temperature every day I found out that my luteal phase is a little short (about 11 days) so I decided to take Vitex to balance my hormones. After taking just 1 pill I stopped it because I thought it is better to talk to my doctor first. I took that pill in 5th day of my cycle. After that my temperature raised for 4 days! And I had no bleeding.Then the temperature dropped and I got brown discharge. Have just a pill disturbed my cycle? Could you please give me any opinions? I have never had spotting between periods before.
