I have diagnosed with cervical erosions. My pap smear report says smear is satisfactory for evaluation. Smear shows moderate cellularity against inflammatory and hemorrhagic background. Smear shows superficial and majority intermediate squamous epithelial cells, clusters of columnar cells against background of polymorph's, RBCs and coccobacillary flora. Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy. Few cells show features of squamous metaplasia. Occasional multinucleated cells are noted.
So what it means...?
