Hello Doctor! I Struck My Head Pretty Hard On A

Hello Doctor! I struck my head pretty hard on a tree on Monday, and although I hit the back of my head, it was my face and around my cheekbones and eyes that I had extreme pain. Now, the pain is gone but comes back every once in a while very suddenly, and is almost paralyzing it is so severe. It slowly goes away but can come back at any time. Could this be something more serious than a knot on my head? I have had concussions before, the dizziness and so forth I did recognize but now this pain has me worried. This has never happened before.
