Hello Doctor, I walk for around 35 mins and cycle 15 mins in morning . Walking speed is around 7.2KM/hr (monitored thru fitbit health watch). Surface is pavers block made for walking.
Use Adidas premium quality shoe ( Boost) .
Generally I give 1 day gap after every three days of walk. Saturday and Sunday I do walking compulsorily. I also take steps in my office (2nd floor) as well as at home (6 floors -- once a day only). Total as per watch I climb 12 to 14 floors.
I experienced knee pain on right knee.
Did Cold pack - initially it was excruciating pain but then helped in reducing pain. Now after two days there is no pain. I have also stopped walking.
Pl suggest - reason for knee pain / can I continue walking / Any test which I should take to ascertain reason / Should a consult a specialist -- if yes then Orthopaedic or General?
I am 46 yrs old / 77 KGs / Blood Pressure - morning - 107/67, afternoon - 125/ 75 , evening - 130/ 85. (average for three days) .
I am vegetarian / No smoking / No arthritis / Good dietary control. Parthasarthy
