Hello Doctor, My Daughter Who Is 12 Years Old Weighing

Hello Doctor, My daughter who is 12 years old weighing 44 kgs with a height of 155 cms, had seizure for about 5-7 mins around 6.15 am. First she screamed, her mouth went side wards towards right and her right hand twisted. Then she turned herself to left and body had jerks. We rubbed her palms and feet and tried to wake her up by sprinkling water on her. She did not respond. After a while she spit out yellowish fluid and also passed urine. Once she was calm, we sprinkled water again and then she responded. We made her to get up to change her clothes. After changing again she went back to sleep. We did not wanted to disturb her and she woke up very late. She doesn't remember anything except for changing the clothes. We consulted a neurologist who suggested for Brain MRI (Plain and Contrast). The report says everything is normal. The doctor said that this might have happened due to electrical activity in the brain and has suggested Oxetol 150mg for 3 days then 300mg to be taken continuously for the next 3 years without missing a day. He also told her not to ride or swim (swimming is her favorite hobby) atleast for a year. Please let me know what could be the cause for this seizure and the side effects of the medicine prescribed.
