Hello Doctor Rynne, my husband has type2 diabetes. He is on the following meds: Insulin - 52 units 2X daily, Metformin - 850 mgs 2 X daily, Bydrueon 1 injection weekly, carvedilol 25 mgs 2X daily, furosemide, potassium, Synthroid 100 mcg daily, amlodipine, losartin, Fetzima. He has an artificial aortic valve (stainless), no arterial artery disease, but has rheumatoid arthritis and is being treated for it with methyltrexate once a week. I know this is probably futile, but we are trying to find out what is causing my husband's extreme nausea. He is sick all day, almost every day. He has had migraine headaches, but this is nausea without headache. We don't know where to begin given his medications. We know that it is not from the bydureon. When he was off of it recently he was still sick. Any thoughts on how to figure this out? Our gp lowered his metformin from 1,000 to 850 mgs but not much difference if any. She seems at a loss, too.
