Hello Dr. Rynne - I have been experiencing an unpleasant after-taste for a couple of weeks and it doesn't make any difference what I eat. My best attempt at a description is sort of a smokey, deep fried type after-taste. I am a healthy eater, mostly fruits, vegetables, whole-grain cereals & breads, non-fat milk, eggs and occasionally meat. I drink up to 100 oz. of water/day, occasionally have a beer or wine but no hard alcoholic beverages. This taste is unusual and I ask about it because the last time food didn't taste good or left me with an unpleasant after-taste, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis-B. That was back in the early 80's during my "wild child" years. Is this anything you recognize or that I should be concerned about? Thank you, Rick
