Hello, Dr. Rynne. I am currently taking care of my bedridden husband who is in hospice care at home. I spoke with our on call nurse about this problem he's having today, but she didn't know what to tell me. He's never had this particular problem in the 1 1/2 years that I have been taking care of him. He has been belching a lot today and through the night last night. Also, when I changed him a little while ago I noticed that his stomach is distended and appears to be rather bloated. He has eaten and been drinking some today.
