Hello, I Am 64 Years Old, Weigh 250lbs, And Take

Hello, I am 64 years old, weigh 250lbs, and take 60 mg of lisinopril a day for high blood pressure. It keeps my bp in the 120/70 range but my heart rate is in thr 50's and 60's, sometimes it is in the 40's. My cardiologist has put me through all the heart tests and I was a little dehydrated but no major heart condition and don't need a pacemaker, soooo... can lisinopril cause a slow heart beat? I was on 40 mg and didn't have the slow heart beat, but about 3 months ago was put on 60 mg with the goal to lose the weight. I have been exercising for the last month with a light weight training course. I feel great with exercising, but the slow heart beat has returned. I have been on a low carb diet and are borderline diabetic 2. My A1c is 7, on no meds and morning blood sugar is about 117. I see my primary doctor every 3 months for a check up, with a full blood panel. No problems so far. My next appointment is September 10th. (Bill)
