Hello. I Am A 22 Year Old Female. I Did

Hello. I am a 22 year old female.
I did not have my period from early June to late September, then when I got my period it was very heavy with large amounts of clotting, but with little to no cramping.
I called a gynecologist and the day after I did so, I stopped bleeding for about a week. She put me on a birth control called Apri. When I started taking this I began to spot bleed and have light abdominal cramping for another month.
Last month I went to the hospital with severe (crippling) abdominal cramping. A CT scan and external and internal ultrasound was done. It said my endometrium thickness was 26mm. And I was put on a hormone in the generic form called something similar to progesterone (cannot remember). I took this 10mg pull for 24 days. Then I called my gynecologist and scheduled a TVS. This was done today and she said my endometrium thickness had gone to 3mm.
Can anyone help me with what is wrong? I have an appt with my doctor on Wednesday, but I am so anxious and nervous to figure out why I am still bleeding and it's been 3 months!
