Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 24 year old female, I’m in my healthy bmi range, and considered “healthy”. I’ve gone for a Pap smear recently and everything came back good. I don’t smoke and have stopped drinking for the past 5 months. I’ve limited my caffeine intake and exercise regular. I eat a balanced diet. I have been off birth control for 5 months now and have been actively trying to concieve with my husband for 4 months, with no luck. My periods are 33 days apart. Do you have any advice? And when should I consider seeing a doctor about these issues. I understand it takes the average couple 6 months to conceive. But I just thought it’d be easier since I am healthy.
