Hello, I am a 44 year old female. I have swelling armpits and have gone to a doctor a couple times. They did a mammogram and ultrasound on the lumps under my arms. The mammogram and ultrasound have normal results. They said the lumps were not in the lymph nodes and were just swelling. I believe it could be an allergy. They gave me antiobiotics and the swelling did go down after a month, but it's still there. I've tried not shaving or using deodorant for a week, changing deodorants, and discontinuing vitamins thinking any of these could be an allergy or cause an infection.
