Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I am a 47 year old woman. Non smoker. Since November 19, 2016 I have had a dry, non-productive cough. It seems to progressively get worse as the day goes on. I was placed on augmentine and medrol dose pack. It went away but returned 9 days later. I am currently on levaquin (10 day course) and finished prednisone. The two inhalers advair and pulmocort did not help. CXR normal. Chest CT normal but with benign liver lesions. I have appointment with pulmonogist February 13 (soonest). I am a nurse and just started a new job... Manager does not want me to return to clinic until cough gone. Can the benign liver lesions be causing my cough? Heart problems? I stopped drinking alcohol 4 months ago. Use to drink about 12 drinks (wine, beer) on the weekends.
