Hello! I am currently suffering with sciatica and have recently been prescribed with Naproxen (500mg tablets - 1 to be taken with/after food twice a day) and Amitriptyline (10mg tablets - 1 to be taken at night). So far, I have taken 3 Naproxen tablets and 1 Amitriptyline. These were prescribed, as Codeine seemed ineffective. This evening (just now) upon taking the Naproxen, I noticed a burning sensation in my throat. Today, at about 1530 I also had an upset stomach. My throat is still burning slightly. Should I stop taking the medication? Additional info: I am also taking HRT (Kliofem) and have done for approximately 10 years.
