Hello, I am sick and after a couple of visits to the Dr - no definite answer as to what is going on. My liver enzymes have been elevated ever since a complicated pregnancy in Aug of 2014. Last week I got the flu shot on Tuesday, started feeling sick on Thursday and by Monday afternoon had to leave work early. Here are my symptoms; body aches, fever going up to 103 at times, lower back pain on the right side when the fever goes up, headaches, dehydration and low blood pressure. The ER doc wrote in notes that my potassium levels were low and advised my PCM to test for mono. I don't have a sore throat or a cold, no issues with pain on the left side of my body. I am 40. They took blood from me this morning and will inform me if I am to return to work after an appt on Monday. Do you think this could really be mono or something else? I really think I'm having a kidney infection or something along those lines although my gall bladder has been removed in 2002. Since then I've had digestive, gas issues. Do you really think this could be mono? Thanks for your time.
