Hello I Had A Cyst Surgically Removed From My Right

Hello I had a cyst surgically removed from my right temple region in November by a plastic surgeon. In my chart it had stated that it was a infra temporal fossa cyst, but in other places it said that it was a ruptured epidermal inclusion cyst. I'm very confused because it has only been 6 months post- op and already I have experienced extreme pain in the area when I chew and there is already another new mass there in its place. Today I even discovered that it appears to be swollen. I have been researching this and I have had sebaceous cysts before, and this is definitely not one of those, any ideas of what it may be? Should I continue to see my plastic surgeon or should I see a different specialist?
Thank you kindly.
