Hello, I have Hep C for maybe the last twenty years About three years ago I developed acites. I went through the first two regimins of interferon, riboflavin and a shot a week. the first time it stopped the count on the second go around, sounded something like Pegasus with some extra new drugs thrown in for a year and we got it down to a point where they couldn't find anything to count so I figured we finally whipped it. I was seeing Dr, Scott Lilly in Muskogee Oklahoma but about six months ago the DEA shut him down for writing too many pain prescripttions.I was in a bad motor cycle accident twenty years ago and was in so much pain I would cry from the pain in my spine, like someone was twisting a knife in my spine. Nothing was ever done as far as surgery, I lived in Hawaii and the Marijuana kept me in decent pain management.He handled the pain with OxyContin and oxycodone in they say large doses but I could finally have a decent quality of life without the risk of breaking the law. About three years ago I developed Acites with the first draw at six liters.a month. now I have standing orders to go to Radiology when I feel I need a paracentisis which is now at about three weeks apart and they have been taking 18 to 22 liters at a time now. My urine was dark brown for a while, maybe Ive got it back to clearer. Nobody is telling me anything at this CCOM and Eastar hospital. got me on Lasix and a few other dierectics which keeps me at home in bed to use the urnal every 15 minutes.They cut my pain management down to almost nothing. My waist was 34 inches x 30 Now its 50 waist 30 lenth went from 210lbs to up to 330 lbs on a 22 liter draw. I have to hold my guts in to get to my car and then I'm in bed for 2 days before I can walk around. Am I in my final stages of life so I can get my car to my brother and just lay here and wait to die? I don't have any money. I live on rice eggs and grilled cheese 2 weeks a month. Sorry, I wouldn't have wasted your time if I knew I had to pay.
