Hello,
I have a question regarding my son who is 4 months now. May you help me? I'll be thankful.
I noticed that my baby has at least 7 minor anomalies (bilateral clinodactyly, Morton's toe, double hair whorl, pilonidal sinus, testicular hydrocele, and some others). I'm really afraid and concerned now because I've done some research on the internet and discovered all the articles which associated minor anomalies like these to severe disorders such as schizophrenia, Tourette syndrome and autism, especially when there are at least 6-7 of them . And according to one article, clinodactyly, Morton's toe and double hair whorl are particularly associated to schizophrenia.
I should also note that so far, my baby seems to develop well, and that I underwent genetic tests during my pregnancy, which gave normal result.
But I'm still worried. Do you think that my son is at risk for having schizophrenia? What do you suggest me to do? (I asked the doctor's kid and she couldn't tell me for sure if there's a problem). Maybe these anomalies are rather related to ICSI in my case? (since this was the procedure that I underwent).
Thanks in advance for your answer.
