I have been to the VA so much I'm tired of going and just want to give up. I have had pain in my left arm for 3 years now. I have had an X-ray on my elbow and shoulder (nothing found) I have had an EMG ( nerve damage from upper arm to finger tips) they put me on gabapentin 1 pill 3x/day. It did not help. Physical therapy (nothing), occupational therapy ( nothing) The pain comes and goes. It feels like someone very strong is grabbing my forearm front side and squeezing as much as possible. (Like a vice). This can happen anytime of day and episodes can last as few as 5 min to as long as 4 hours. I have just recently (2- 1/2 weeks) been itc,hing like crazy in the same area to the point of creating sores. Help!
