Hello. I have diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and interstitial lung disease. Now I'm beginning to wonder if I could also have MS.
Lately whenever I stand from either laying down or sitting, when I get up my legs are shaky. It also happens when I go down stairs. Right after my muscles feel like they're stiff and walking feels weird. Every day I'm off balance, bumping into things, clumsy. I can't remember words. Or I mesh words together. Sometimes my hands feel like they're trembling (not that anybody else would notice). I also have spasms, only when I'm sleeping. Last night one was very bad. My whole body seemed to seize up and my head was shaking like someone who has Parkinson's.
Do these sound like symptoms any of you have experienced?
Your response will be greatly appreciated. I'm beginning to feel like... I don't know. I can't even explain it. I don't want attention. I just want to know what is going on with me.
