Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I hope you can help. In may I started bleeding every day - not enough to soak a tampon but enough that there was blood whenever I would wipe. This was happening every day for 6 weeks.
I went to the ER and explained the situation and that is recently lost 4 stone so maybe weight loss had something to do with it. They wouldn't perform a physical as I was still bleeding but referred me to the sexual health clinic for the pill to regulate my period.
I was prescribed feonella and the bleeding stopped for about two months. It then started again for about 2 weeks so I came off the pill. 2 days later( today) I had cramping in my stomach. I went to the toilet and passed a grey, fleshy thing with the consistency of liver. This has never happened before so I am a little concerned. I read up on the internet that it may be a decidual cast.
Please can you help tell me what this is and what I should do?
Thank you
