I recently used Vigamox eye drops for the treatment of a corneal abrasion. I started last Friday and finished them on Thursday of this week. On Tuesday I went to the beach and got a fairly decent sunburn over several areas of my body, however my legs got the worst of it. I took some Advil a couple times during the worst of the inflammation and discomfort, but never exceeded the recommended dose or took it around the clock. This evening while at work I checked my leg and noticed generalized petechiae on my legs, but only on the areas that had been sunburned. Is this most likely a side effect from the fluoroquinolone or should I be more concerned? I have never had this reaction before.
