Hello, I Sincerely Hope You Will Be Able To Inform
Hello, I sincerely hope you will be able to inform me on my current issue and would be immensely gracious for any help you can give. I Am 17 years old and have developed a pretty severe case of chemophobia, particularly the idea that I will come into contact with a certain chemical and have it permanently impair my cognitive ability or other such functions of the brain. Just yesterday I was caught in a storm at a local park that treats its grass with pesticides and I am very worried that through the water splashing on the treated grass then coming into contact with me I absorbed these pesticides through my skin and have essentially "fried" my brain. I am legitimately worried about this and haven't been able to stop thinking about the possibility that I'm now"less" then I used to be. I have been very short fused (quick to anger) since the storm but this may be do to the mass amount of stress I have created for myself while obsessing over this. I would very much like to hear your thoughts on all of this, is it possible that being caught in that storm has impaired me mentally? Is this fear of pesticides at the park legitimate or a product of misinformation? Please I would greatly appreciate an answer and please don't sugar-coat anything I really would just like to know the truth. Thank you in advance
