Hello! I would love to hear your opinion please. A little bit history..l
My dad is 65 years old. His stared having irregular heart beats about 8 years ago and he was diagnosed with arrhythmia about 7 years ago...he also started having AF about the same time. He had ablation done on his left chamber and had a pacemaker installed as well. He was symptom free for 5 years. Last year the arrhythmia started with the AF as well in his right chamber. He just had ablation done on the right side as well..
Today his doctor prescribed a drug for him called cordarone...but the side effects are so scary and with this drug he has to have close monitoring on his blood levels, thyroid and eye exams regularly. I am wondering if there is a better alternative to Coldarone that carries a lower risk of serious side effects.
