Hello, I'm a 23 year old male with history of asthma. Recently have been experiencing a lot of chest pain with no wheezing like my previous asthma attacks. My pain feels like my chest is tight when inhaling, have known to last a week or 2 off and on through out the day and night (sometimes the pain wakes me up) and then disappears for 2 to 4 months. I use rescue inhalers, breathing treatments as well as advair disks which seem to calm the pain but never actually make it go away, the pain can range from an uncomfortable feeling to making me vomit. Ive had an EKG done and xrays that came back normal. Any ideas as to what this could be?
