Hello. I'm a 41 yr old female with a history of Crohn's disease since the age of two, however my crohns is in complete remission. Graves diagnosis in late 2011 with emergency thyroidectomy in early 2012. Still having difficulty maintains thyroid levels as well as extremely high cortisol levels at night MRI on sella showed no pituitary abnormalities. Tested negative for the Ana w/titer for Lupus, but positive for 10 other Lupus antibodies. Diagnosed with fibromyalgia, MGUS and familial Hemiplegic migraines in 2015. I take very little medication, 250 mcg Synthroid daily, 50 mg Benadryl for allergies off label uses such as anti-emetic and pain, .5 mg Xanax 1x daily, 500 mg Naproxen 2x daily as needed for pain and prementrual infections and migraine headaches. No opiates. Being evaluated by pain management center at Stanford University Medical Center and have added 300 mg gabapentin 3x daily for neuropathy pain and low dose naltrexone for immune system regulation in the last 4 weeks. Have multiple allergies to medications, 5-Asa preparations, Sulfa, PCN, macrobid, Gadolinium, CT iodine contrast, phenothiazines, nortriptilyne and reglan. Have increased medication sensitivity in the past two years. Have noticed an wonderful decrease in pain and increase in energy and well being while on gabapentin and low dose naltrexone, however in the past week have begun to out of character anxiety and extreme rage, angry with no reason or understanding of the anger, also in the past two days facial swelling, swollen glands in the throat, fever and a slight yellow tint to the whites of my eyes and skin, also very unusual spots of bleeding under the skin, mainly on shins and upper arms with no injury to account for the bleeding. Concerned that I'm beginning to suffer rare side effects from gabapentin. Your professional thoughts?
