My 70 year old grandma had a episode recently. It lasted around 5 minutes. I a, thinking it is amaurosis fugax because she has a history of blood clots. Since this one was 5 minutes it suggests it was a clot in her clot was in her carotid artery. She has goes to the doctors next week. Is that to long to wait.
