Recently I tested positive for gonnorhoea after experiencing symptoms shortly following a stress episode. After being diagnosed as a UTI before test results returned, I took standard antibiotics for a UTI. After the results returned positive for gonnorheoa, I notified my partner who was then tested negative on swabs (anal/oral) as well as urine. When we were both tested in October, we both tested negative in urine tests, but were not swabbed. When I tested positive I notified my partner and was treated, as were they. I have not had any sexual partners since before we began dating ( September ). Understandably this has created strain in our relationship and caused trust issues to arise. My question is what could have possibly occurred to result in this outcome? My past sexual partners had all been oral giving/receiving as well as maybe some kissing. I am a regular weed smoker, as I know that does affect the liver.
